A freak snowstorm downed powerlines to a large farming community East of Taupo. A huge amount of houses and farm buildings were left without power. It was our job to get them back up and running until the power lines could be repaired. Not only was it difficult to access the property through thick snow but also sourcing a huge array of generators to keep farm water pumps, houses and sheds/offices going for the staff and stock.
